Truss rods are used in chain link fencing to keep posts plumb. This entails keeping the ends, corners and other stress points tensioned by keeping the chain link fabric stretched.

Truss tighteners are used with truss rods to properly secure the rods and help maintain shape and tension across panels and gates. Tighteners are welded or banded into the frame of posts and then rods are threaded through them and secured with a nut. This allows the desired tension to be adjusted and met with precision.

Truss tighteners are made from factory grade pressed steel and coated with a zinc based galvanization. This protects the components from rust and corrosion as well as ensuring lasting durability against all but the most severe of weather and temperature conditions.
