Drop Rods – Black

Drop rods are a component used in double swing gates. A drop rod is affixed to the edge of a single side of the double swing gate, where it drops down either to the ground, or an embedded socket placed below it. The drop rod prevents the attached gate from swinging freely while the opposite panel is in use. This functionality allows for a double swing gate to be used with less hassle when opening a single panel is sufficient access. Additionally, the rod prevents the gate from swinging in windy weather conditions reducing wear and tear and increasing longevity.

Drop rods are fabricated from high quality factory rolled steel. This product is finished with a black coating that allows it to integrate into other black coated chain link systems.
