Barbed wire is affixed to chain link fence to increase security and deter unwanted entry. It is affixed to chain link by barb wire arms, which come in a selection of either 45° or 90° armatures. There are some regulations involved with using barbed wire in construction, and municipal regulations should be reviewed before purchase and installation. Class 3 barbed wire is made out of durable steel wire, woven with regular barbs to prevent scaling.

Each roll of class 3 barbed wire comes on a spool with built in carrying handles. One parcel contains 1320′ of barbed wire. The high quality factory rolled steel is given a galvanized coating that discourages rust and corrosion while making the wire resistant to all but the most severe of temperature and weather conditions.
